The stars are twinkling as the guests arrive at the Little Acorn Golf Club deep in the undulating countryside of Rutshire. It’s the night before The Vic Toree Classic Cup, when Vic the newly elected President of the club invites his friends, and foes alike, to join him in a tournament to find the best golfer in the county.
 
The tee times have been booked, the spikes have been cleaned and the clubs have been polished in anticipation of a great day of golf. Gayle Force, a stickler for punctuality, and the club steward, should be at the door welcoming the guests for an evening of fun, frolics and of course boasting! But where is she?
 
The club secretary, Lou Slips, grudgingly goes to search for her. This can’t be true! Gayle is found dead on the locker room floor with The Vic Toree Cup by her side. Was it a heart attack – after all she was no spring chicken?
 
Or was it murder? It’s up to you to find out!
